GIF is a very inefficient format — every second adds megabytes. Fifteen seconds at medium size already produces files around 5–10 MB. For longer clips, a video file is almost always the better choice.
Use a shorter duration and a smaller output size. The tool also generates a custom color palette for your clip (two-pass encoding), which noticeably improves quality at any size.
